Children Empowerment Club Distributes School Supplies to Underprivileged Children for the Start of the Academic Year
The Children Empowerment Network Club—RENGERA UMWANA recently held their annual event where they donated school supplies to children from impoverished families and abandoned children. This initiative aims to prevent children from dropping out of school due to a lack of essential materials.
Emmanuel TWIZEYIMANA, the director of the Club, highlighted the importance of community involvement in supporting children’s education.
He stated, “To care for them and instill confidence, we realized that reaching out to poor families is vital in preventing the issues that lead to school dropout.”
Established in 2018 by a group of young people, this club has been supporting 30 children each year by providing them with necessary school supplies.
The members of the club are hopeful to find more supporters willing to participate in their program to help children achieve their education.
In a direct quote, Emmanuel emphasized, “When everyone participates, the number of children dropping out of school decreases significantly.”
The club’s efforts are crucial in ensuring that all children have access to education and the resources they need to succeed.
